A bike taxi, also known as a pedicab or rickshaw, is a pedal-powered vehicle designed to carry passengers. Our open-air rides are eco-friendly, scenic, and perfect for short trips or sightseeing.

BikeTaxi.net primarily serves downtown Charleston, including King Street, Meeting Street, The City Market, Waterfront Park, Rainbow Row, and The Battery. We also cover nearby neighborhoods and can arrange special event pickups.

Our fleet operates daily from late mornings until late evenings. Evening and weekend rides are especially popular, particularly around nightlife and events.

Our pedicabs comfortably seat 2–3 passengers. Solo rides are available at a slightly higher rate.

Not always. You can often hop on when you see a pedicab downtown. However, for weddings, private events, or busy weekends, we recommend booking ahead online.

Solo Passenger (Private Ride): $15 per 10 minutes

Yes! College of Charleston students ride for $8 per passenger (with 2–3 passengers per bike), instead of the standard $10 fare.

Ages 4–12: Half price
